As I celebrate 12 years of employment at ServingIntel, I can’t help but reflect on my time here and explore the reasons that have kept me entrenched in this family for so long. As one could imagine, there isn’t just one thing that leads to such a choice. But there is one I feel has influenced my decision far above the rest: our company’s shift in focus towards the Senior Living market.
For me, this change in landscape dovetailed perfectly with a personal connection I had within the SL space at that time, as my grandparents had just sold their lifelong home to move into a SL community here in the Midwest. I can remember their excitement as we first moved them in, and the very warm welcome they received from staff and fellow residents as they settled into what would become ‘home’ for their remaining years. Sharing that experience, then being presented with the opportunity to work within that environment myself, had a large impact on me. It not only solidified my decision to remain a loyal employee but reignited my passion for the work we do. I believe this passion that myself and my colleagues share, is what sets us apart from others in the industry.
My role as Program Manager is to oversee all new system deployments, ensuring they are executed smoothly, efficiently, and tailored to the unique requirements of our Senior Living partners. I’m responsible for the onboarding process of all new partner accounts and then serve as a bridge between partner contacts, our project managers, and development teams, aligning their needs and expectations to help support a successful implementation. Once the initial deployment is complete, I facilitate the partners transition to our service team for ongoing support needs.
The senior living industry is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by shifting demographics, evolving resident expectations, and ever-changing regulatory requirements.
